As Christians , many who think that meditation is associated with a science which is forbidden by our religion . Initially I thought the same thing , but once I learned it again , it turns out it was not forbidden in the Bible . In Luke 6 verse 25 is written , 'Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, nor about your body, what you will wear . I also honestly say that learning meditation than to praise and worship God in a devotional worship , would be more soothing that when we praise and worship the Lord in earnest , and it was not undisputed . In meditation we learn to concentrate or focus on an object and ignore or observe any thoughts that will arise when we meditate and it requires an effort . Compare that to when we praise and worship God , our mind is really focused and there is nothing more soothing than that .
But what about the people who experienced problems in his personal life every day , who find it difficult to concentrate because of the problems they are facing , the relatives may not be able to help so that his mind could not focus though perhaps spiritual as they attending services ?The solution could be to meditation that we will soon learn . We will learn meditation is not meditation that uses spells . The benefits of meditation is to give you peace of mind , exercise patience and make us more focused .
